The Brief

Withers launched a consulting group due to client demand. We (WCG) need an online presence which is engaging, dynamic, socially active for industry opinion and knowledge for our prospects. Make the knowledge hub striking, a magnet for growth, to awaken and engage the user.

Telling the WCG story

The homepage focuses on consumers every brand wants. Those who not only browse the content, but also seek to engage, share and connect with it. We devised a homepage, which could be scanned in seconds, quickly leading to more meaningful content through the landing pages like consultant profiles and articles. Users were now at a point where they would spend quality time having been swiftly signposted.

A place to grow, a canvas to intrigue

Bringing an instinctive user experience to the knowled.ge section would keep the competition on their toes. A more dynamic homepage putting social activity at its core gave knowled.ge a new direction. Users were now fully participating, encouraged to share, sign up and return. Enticing the user with latest/popular/featured content would liven up and involve the audience.

Triggering a response

The knowled.ge hub is at the heart of the site providing content that triggered a response. Using family examples and information that could be captured was another way to give users a sense of involvement. Words stick and the striking ‘dialogues’ which grab attention were subtly positioned always echoing the balanced image of the consultants.

Kind words from WCG Marketing Manager

“Initially we had 6 weeks from the pitch process to go live. Pixel’s team ensured we met our deadline even though a brand and content was yet to be established. The design interpreted my brief very well and they delivered a platform we could build upon post launch. I appreciated brain storming ideas with the team – I like to get fully involved and they went out of their way to meet with our print designers to ensure a joined up approach. The brand has been well communicated, which is vital for a start-up business.”
