Re-design our iPad app to reflect our brand, make it slick but easy to use so our sales guys actually use it.

Brand research

We set about the brief by immersing ourselves in the world of sports media, we put ourselves in the glossy shoes of the sales people for the day and took a walk around their impressive head offices.

From observing the sales team we knew we had to create a digital equivalent of a hand made italian leather bag that embodied the same confident, sharp and refined feel of the brand and sales team.

We developed the ultimate sales tool, with everything they needed to know at their instant disposal. As the app would be used globally it needed to provide quick updating to ensure a quicker turnaround.

We achieved this by creating a single cross platform CMS that allowed updates from newly signed property rights to new offices opening. These updates happened on both the iPad and site simultaneously, essential in a rapidly changing marketplace.

As well as incredibly useful, the app needed to be beautiful as it would double as a presentation tool to clients. We created a simple cover flow style interface that was easy to flick through. To personify the energy, passion and emotion of the sports they represent we made it so the app has full screen video as well as impressive high contrast imagery covering all touch points.

What began as an app brief expanded into a website and print asset design project, with the app driving the look and feel of the site and print assets.


We created an innovative sales tool that was a first of its kind, cementing MP&Silva’s place as marketplace leaders.

We created a specific area for their CSR, ‘Play for Change’ to become visible for the first time ever, it now had a platform to communicate their objectives and projects which is now becoming a foundation.

Engagement with the app was impressive with the average interaction time being 4.5 minutes compared to 2.4 minutes on the previous site across all homepages.

We developed an awesome working relationship with MP&Silva and long term plans are in the pipeline to further develop their digital arm of the brand.
