A website to communicate leadership

BAPLA is widely recognised as the major governing body for the photographic industry. They manage over 400 million images and a huge range of image libraries.

In a rapidly expanding and massively competitive market there was an opportunity for BAPLA to become a centre of excellence.

The industry needed leadership from an experienced, well-respected and influential organisation.

Together with the great brains at Creamy London we helped BAPLA position their role online and articulate its purpose. We did that by developing the information architecture and injecting creativity to shift the focus of their website, concentrating primarily on the services they offer to image libraries and the people who use them.

We had 400 million images to show off and so allowing the photography to speak for itself, we designed a front-end that showed a vibrant, powerful and progressive online community, which is a major benefit to everyone in the world of imagery.
