Discoverables: Co-creation tackles youth unemployment

Big thanks to the Design Council for funding an idea that was born at our hack night, Brainyhacks. Fuelled with pizzas, some booze, and talented digital thinkers we had some amazing ideas for a better world.

We teamed up with Spark + Mettle (a charity that helps young people flourish) and their audience (the youth of today) to further develop this so that young people can become discoverable to potential employers.

We ditched the traditional CV and launched Discoverabl.es offering them a chance to uncover, prove and improve their strengths and skills online.
The first phase of the website was launched early this year and we continue to pitch for more funding. So put the kettle on, enjoy a 20 mins of how co-creation is tackling a real life issue.
You’ll hear from Eugenie (Spark + Mettle founder) and myself (Head of Design) about the journey from an ideation to digital product.
